Things the faeries want you to know.
We welcome you to be part of the magic of the festival, and you and your friends are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch, bring blankets, chairs, and dress in costume or playful attire!   However, due to the family-oriented nature of this event, please be aware of the following:
    * Weapons must be peace tied. Play weapons and decorative weapons are allowed and must be peace-tied AT ALL TIMES. Weapons with sharpened edges to them cannot be exposed, peace-tied or otherwise. Even children’s toy weapons will be peace-tied.  There will be a "Place of Peace" agreement that everyone must pledge to who carries anything that resembles a weapon. We want this event to be a place of merriment and magic for all, and for all to feel welcome and safe.
    * No Alcohol.  Alcohol will not be sold or served at the Maryland Faerie Festival.
    * Respect our Faerie Festival Staff who are present for your safety!
    * No Pets. Due to site restrictions, we cannot allow you to bring your pets at this time.  Safety animals, however, are permitted.
    * Parking fields and some parts of the site can get muddy when wet. Please wear appropriate footwear and watch your step!
    * There will be an ATM on premises! Some of our vendors accept other forms of payment, however with only a few ATMs and more then 6000 people, it is possible that the machines will run out, so plan accordingly.
    * Handicap Friendly! However, it is a grass site, so please plan accordingly.
